Julie advocates a whole-person approach to the pregnancy journey.
Written testimony
I think we need to take a really transformative, whole-person approach when it comes to thinking about the whole, you know, notion about becoming pregnant, the experiences of being pregnant, and post-pregnancy, and – yeah. I just think it’s just been so medicalized for so, so long and I think we need to kind of go back to historical – the ways in which we were as humans as being a part of community-based care, and compassionate care
